My First Dev Days 2026

My partner dropped the link (https://www.aswf.io/dev-days/) a week ago saying I’d like it. I looked it up, liked it, so registered. Let’s pick an issue and make a contribution.

My first contribution to an open source library.

• At first I was confused about everything. That’s why I had never tried to make a contribution even though I was interested in it. I was afraid of getting lost. Dev Days pushed me to try. The fact that experienced staff/maintainers were monitoring closely and replying quickly really eased my mind.
• For me, it took two days to finish what I chose to do. I thought I had read all the docs and the guides I needed beforehand, but later, I realized I really hadn’t read them ALL. There were so many things. 🙃

• When it finally merged, I felt like I could try more. I still don’t know much, but I had fun and got some encouragement. Who knows, it might end up under my hobby tabs someday!
